NO weekends, NO Major Holidays, NO Call!! The primary function of the Surgical Scrub Technician assists the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Assures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Monitors PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments. Participates in departmental staff meeting and Quality Management & Improvement activities. SPD experience preferred. Current specialties: Total joints, Ortho Spine, Ortho, Cataracts, Podiatry, Pain management injections

Job Requirements:

• Education - High School Diploma or GED certification.
• Completion of surgical scrub technician course
• Operating Room experience
• CPR certification
• Strong ethical and moral character references

Preferred:

• Two years’ previous operating room experience
